A DriverScore is the summation of millions of lines of second-by-second GPS and sub-second accelerometer data matched with risk analytics to produce a singular score that predicts driver behavior. Information is collected and mapped to existing databases (posted speed, rural/city/neighborhood routes and accident loss data) to measure individual driver risk. DriverScore tracks vehicle speed, exact location, hard braking, fast accelerations, rapid lane changes, and certain vehicle sensor data such as seat belts, wipers, blinkers/flashers, etc.

IVOX’s DriverScore provides the most accurate predictor of driver risk available. While current insurance premiums are often based on tangential information, such as one’s credit score, companies using DriverScore are able to base risk assessment on real, objective data.
