Scott G. Stephenson is executive vice president and chief operating officer of ISO, reporting to Chairman, President, and CEO Frank J. Coyne. He serves as the group executive responsible for all of ISO’s subsidiaries focused on decision analytics. In addition, Mr. Stephenson is responsible for ISO’s Business Development unit, which oversees all mergers and acquisitions activity, licensing of ISO content to third-party vendors, and ideation on new markets and lines of business. He also heads ISO’s Enterprise Data Management unit, which catalogs and facilitates the transfer of data stores across business units to support new product development.
Before joining ISO, Mr. Stephenson was an executive-in-residence with Silver Lake Partners, a technology-oriented private equity firm headquartered in New York and Menlo Park, California. His focus was on the information-services sector. Before Silver Lake, Mr. Stephenson was a senior partner with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a global management consulting firm. While with BCG, Mr. Stephenson was a member of the firm’s North American operating committee; served clients in a variety of industries, including information services, automotive, and computing; and authored several articles and monographs on issues of strategy and competition.
Mr. Stephenson is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, and the Harvard Business School, where he received a master of business administration degree. Mr. Stephenson has served on numerous civic and charitable boards. |
